Tenzing Becomes Canada's first SAS 70 and ISO 27001 Certified Hosting Company

Tenzing Managed IT Services, one of Canada's leading managed hosting companies, announced its successful completion of a rigorous SAS 70 Information Security Standards audit. This audit makes Tenzing the only managed IT services company in Canada to be certified against both the ISO 27001 and SAS 70 standards, used globally for evaluating information security processes and control procedures.
These international auditing standards, developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and International Organization for Standardization (ISO) allow service providers such as Tenzing to demonstrate appropriate security and safeguards when they host or process second party information. Tenzing has invested heavily in rigorous security and control processes, including physical and network security, environmental controls, business continuity and business governance at its Data Centres and operations centers in Toronto, Kelowna, and Vancouver.
