- About Tenzing
Tenzing Managed IT Services announced today that it has, for the first time, been listed as one of the Top 250 IT Companies in Canada by the Branham Group. Tenzing's achievement is magnified by the revenue threshold for the 2009 list being raised by $1.3 million over 2008. The Branham300 list is the gauge by which Information Technology (IT) companies in Canada measure their success.
CEO Brian Shepard credited Tenzing's award winning approach and highly qualified staff. "Our team continues to work incredibly hard to be Canada's best provider of enterprise-class hosting services." He continued, "Our tremendous growth, much of it through word of mouth and customer upgrades, is a clear sign that our dedication to service excellence is being recognized by our customers."
"Tenzing's impressive growth over the course of 2008 and through the first quarter of 2009 is a strong positive indication that the company has a solid competitive offering and a thorough understanding of their customer base," said Wayne Gudbranson, President and CEO of Branham Group. "If Tenzing can continue to build on these notable achievements there is no telling how high a ranking they can attain on the Branham300 in future years."
Tenzing revenue expectations for 2009 remain strong despite the global economic downturn. In fact, the company has just had one of their strongest quarters. "We are moving at full steam ahead," noted Kelly Beardmore, Tenzing CTO. "I expect growth to accelerate in 2009 with the release of our new Everest Cloud Computing Platform, which will provide our enterprise customers a higher level of service, immense flexibility and scalability, and better value for their IT dollar."
Tenzing was founded in 1998. The company's award-winning approach to hosting business-critical internet applications is comprehensive and collaborative. Grounded in ITIL best practices, their five step "Summit with Tenzing" approach addresses the entire IT lifecycle to deliver a new level of managed IT hosting service. Tenzing holds both ISO 27001 and SAS 70 certification. Identified in each of the last three years as one of Canada's fastest growing companies by Profit Magazine, Tenzing has customer service centers in Kelowna, BC and Toronto, Ontario, and datacenters in Canada's primary NAPs: 151 Front Street, Toronto and the Harbour Centre, Vancouver.
