The Account Manager will play an integral part of a SaaS or e-Commerce practice team by helping drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction in one of these specialized areas. The position includes the management and growth of existing accounts by providing outstanding responsiveness and innovative solutions to help our clients meet their business objectives. In addition, you will develop and drive new business and support the Practice Leads in managing opportunities through the entire sales cycle. Become a trusted business advisor for both customers and prospects by bringing and further developing your deep knowledge and understanding of the industry within the SaaS or e-Commerce practice.
Key Responsibility Areas:
- Approximately 60% of the time managing existing accounts - react and respond to client requests in a timely fashion and proactively manage strategic accounts from a business perspective.
- Approximately 40% of the time helping drive new revenue inside the practice by supporting the Practice Lead / BDM and managing new smaller opportunities through the sales engagement process.
- Drive deeper understanding into existing customer business plans and growth strategies and ultimately develop new insights into the nuances of supporting clients in the areas of SaaS and e-Com.
- Build account plans with key clients in your practice area to drive higher customer satisfaction scores and incremental revenue.
- Work closely with Technical Account Managers to build strong relationships with a broad set of business stakeholders inside key accounts.
- Coordinate and schedule account reviews with strategic accounts liaising with Tenzing Technical Account Team for technical input.
- Work to increase operational efficiency of Tenzing account team by planning and implementing effective processes and systems.

Qualifications:
- Degree in Business, or in a Sales and Marketing program (Masters preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years previous experience in account management where consultative selling was part of the job. Demonstrated capacity for generating revenue and overachieving budget expectations. Alternatively, having spent 3-5 years consulting in the SaaS or e-Com industry.
- Previous experience working with SaaS or e-Com companies, either managing operations inside them or selling into them.
- Previous experience working with technical solutions and services essential. Demonstrated experience interacting with technical people, both fielding and responding to questions.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to establish and build relationships quickly with others (internally and externally).
- Strong time management, follow-up and organizational skills.
- Comfortable in a technology environment with a natural desire to stay informed in the market.
- Understanding of and some experience with CRM solutions.
