Tenzing Unveils APM Assure, Fully-Managed Application Performance Management Service

New Service Monitors at the Application Level to Diagnose and Resolve Performance Problems Before They Impact Customer Experience

TORONTO – October 23, 2012

Tenzing Managed IT Services (Tenzing), a leading provider of hosting solutions for ecommerce clients, System Integrators (SIs) and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) providers, today announced APM Assure, the first fully-managed application performance management (APM) service. Available immediately, Tenzing’s APM Assure delivers a simple, fast and affordable way to monitor, diagnose, and resolve application problems before they impact revenue.

Tenzing’s APM Assure is the latest addition to a series of Advanced Managed Services being developed and brought to market by Tenzing to help customers overcome common application IT and business challenges. It is built on the next generation of application performance management technologies for modern application architectures in both the cloud and the data center. APM Assure delivers improved visibility in distributed environments and shortens MTTR (Mean Time to Resolution) from weeks to hours and minutes. Tenzing APM Assure includes application instrumentation services, base-lining, comprehensive round-theclock monitoring and deep troubleshooting into application code performance at the business transaction layer. Tenzing customers will be immediately notified of any anomalies or performance issues with their applications to ensure the customer experience is proactively restored.

“Distributed web applications have made monitoring application health and performance an even more difficult task, especially now with applications operating in constantly changing environments,” says Brian Shepard, Tenzing founder and CEO. “APM Assure goes beyond other monitoring tools to enable monitoring at the application level. It delivers the simplicity, visibility, and deep diagnostics that e-commerce companies, SaaS providers and other companies need to identify, diagnose, and fix performance problems before they become disruptive.”

Tenzing’s APM Assure collects and analyzes data to provide recommendations on how to proactively finetune a network to deliver an optimal web experience for end users and customers. In addition, it offers increased IT agility that allows for rapid deployments and code changes, even in high-volume production environments, and enables Java and .NET environments to be monitored separately or together.

“As a fully-managed service, Tenzing’s APM Assure takes application performance management to a new level where clients can reactively and proactively address application issues before they affect the bottom line,” adds Raj Atwal, Vice President and GM, E-commerce at Tenzing. “APM Assure complements Tenzing’s other monitoring services that either monitor at the infrastructure and OS level or monitor the application externally from a user’s perspective. APM Assure provides one more significant layer of service to meet the needs of any organization that wants to ensure an optimal web experience for their clients.”
