Tenzing Relocates Toronto Headquarters to Support Continued Growth and Expansion

TORONTO – September 7, 2017

Specialized ecommerce services leader moves to the Eaton Centre – North America’s busiest mall and one of Canada’s best-known commercial landmarks.

Tenzing, a leading provider of ecommerce application and managed services, is pleased to announce the recent relocation to its new state-of-the-art Toronto headquarters. The commercial office tower Tenzing now calls home sits on top of North America’s busiest mall. With over 49 million annual visitors, the Eaton Center complex hosts more guests in a year than Disneyland and Walt Disney combined. Some of the best retail brands reside within a 5-minute walk from the new office providing a great retail learning experience for Tenzing staff.

The move took place at the end of August and the space has been equipped with some of the latest advanced technologies for remotely monitoring its multiple data centres, along with high-end videoconferencing, collaboration and other productivity tools for its staff to work with each other and their customers more effectively. The office includes a dedicated Network Operations Center (NOC) for monitoring customer applications, networks, systems and holiday promotions.

According to Tenzing CFO Gord Dyer, “When choosing our new office, we were looking for the unique mix of accessibility, connectivity and retail presence. One of our main goals was to provide our staff daily visibility into our clients’ experience by exposing them to a high concentration of retailers. We also needed to upgrade our environment to further enable productivity and provide a setting our people would enjoy working in.” Dyer continued, “It was a requirement for us to be located near a busy shopping area where some of the solutions we deliver and manage get used. The Eaton Centre is the perfect place as one of Canada’s premier shopping malls, and it houses some of the great brands we serve. So far the response from our team and visitors alike has been exceedingly positive.”

Tenzing serves a market that consists primarily of mid to large-sized retailers and leading manufacturers that leverage B2C and B2B digital commerce technologies to build successful online and omnichannel sales. Tenzing is a strong believer in talent development and has invested in a dedicated training and learning center for its staff.
