Tenzing Listed As Third Party Service Provider for MasterCard Worldwide and Visa Canada
Completes Rigorous Registration Processes Required to Store, Process, Transmit Cardholder Data for Online Merchants

Tenzing Managed IT Services (Tenzing), a leading provider of hosting solutions for ecommerce clients, System Integrators (SIs) and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) providers, today announced that it has successfully registered for MasterCard’s Data Protection Program (SDP) and Visa’s Cardholder Information Security Program (CISP). These two compliance programs are designed to enhance the security of payment transactions, and Tenzing is now listed as a Third Party Service Provider that can store, process, and transmit cardholder data on behalf of the card brands’ merchants.
Credit card issuers and acquirers must use the PCI Data-Security Standard (PCI-DSS), and are responsible for ensuring that their merchants use service providers that are compliant with this standard. As a PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant service provider, Tenzing successfully completed the mandatory registration and validation processes for both the MasterCard and Visa programs.
