Magento on AWS, Managed by Tenzing
(Almost) A year later

This week is a special week at Tenzing. The Magento community has gathered in Vegas for Magento’s annual user conference, Imagine Commerce. Although it’s not exactly a year since Imagine 2014, last year’s conference was very important for our teams as it marked the launch of our “Magento on AWS, Managed by Tenzing” solution.

Almost a year later, it is incredible to look back on our journey. Since the launch, we have signed on over 30 retailers to the service. We had an amazing reception to our solution at last year’s conference and since then we’ve improved scalability and performance for retailers in verticals like apparel and fashion, cosmetics and B2B. We’ve also started working with a number of chocolate makers – which no one in the office is complaining about!

Magento on AWS Case Studies

More than just getting sentimental, the anniversary of the launch is a great time to share more about the work we are doing for retailers. We’re excited to release two new case studies to showcase our clients and their stories.

First up is Cundari, an agency we worked with on a client project of theirs. One of Canada’s leading digital agencies, Cundari was working on a rebrand of a storied Canadian retailer. We were connected through another mutual client to support the retailer’s new ecommerce site. Read about the rebrand and our solution here.

Second, we have a case study from a leading baby boutique. Their story is one we frequently hear– a mid-sized retailer has outgrown a legacy solution. Like many we speak to, this merchant was dealing with regular downtime, lacking service and infrastructure that could not deliver a competitive customer experience. With our partner Eradium, our teams launched a new Magento site on AWS infrastructure. Check out their story here.
